What we love about XtraMath

XtraMath had a great impact on child's success in learning the math facts. Immediate feedbacks are provided to the parents and the program can be adapted based on the child's specific learning needs. Kids can learn about addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Math fact fluency is an important foundation for future math skills. Speed and accuracy are both important to fluency, and XtraMath will help kids build up both.

Is XtraMath easy to use?

Yes, XtraMath is easy to use. XtraMath student activities are simple and straightforward and take only a few minutes each day. The program uses sophisticated methods to present your child with the right problem at the right time to maximize the effectiveness of practice. Students earn a certificate of achievement when they complete an operation.

You will receive a weekly progress report in e-mail. The report shows how well your child knows their math facts and the progress they are making toward mastery. More detailed reports can be accessed via the web at any time.

XtraMath Quizzes

XtraMath sessions are short - about 10 minutes or less - and are ideally intended to be done once a day. A typical session consists of a few quiz and practice activities, each lasting about two minutes. Placement ends when XtraMath is able to determine the initial mastery score. This score is a reference point for teachers and parents so they can track how the student progresses.

Awards & Certificates

Students earn trophies for reaching certain milestones in XtraMath. Any new trophies earned are shown to the student at the end of an activity. Each trophy indicates something slightly different. Your online student report shows all the trophies a student has earned. Just click a trophy to see when they achieved it and what it means.
