For example, a patient has a headache and the user must relieve it by correctly matching a number of animated shapes to the correct corresponding outline. Other puzzles include practicing hand-eye coordination or fine motor skills and dexterity by touching moving objects or guiding shapes through small mazes. 

What makes Toca Doctor great for kids is that it allows children to think of doctors in a more positive light, that they are there to help you when you get hurt or aren’t feeling well. The mini-games are fun and easy for children while the art direction in the game makes everything pleasant to look at.

There is no real winning or losing so children never feel pressured or discouraged. The game also makes what doctors do seem less scary to children by making what they do seem a bit more fun.

In this app, kids will be given a patient who has various issues that need fixing. In order to fix these problems kids will need to complete a mini-game. These games work on their motor skills, puzzle solving skills, color skills, and more. So while they’re busy having fun they’re actually learning at the same time.

The game itself is really easy for children to play. The “doctor” in the game diagnosis the patient and shows areas that need to be examined. Just tap on those areas and a mini-game starts. The mini-games are quite varied and very well made. There isn’t a points system or a time limit in the games which is great because you’ll be able to play at your own pace and there isn’t any way to lose any of the games. The art for each game is very children friendly and cute and should be quite appealing to them as well.
