This app - available for iOS, Android, and web — includes advice on planning for the GRE, study guides and strategies, practice questions, video lessons, progress tracking, and more. Barron’s 1100 words was initially been a book that quickly became the industry standard for must-know GRE words. If you're more concerned about vocabulary, Barron's 1100 for GRE may be the app for you. Based on the book Barron's "1100 Words You Need to Know," this app for Android feature word lists, flashcards and quizzes you can learn to use vocab words for the GRE.

It also lets you learn by using words in sentences, tracking your progress and helping you make your studying more efficient. There's also an iPhone app available that's a bit more bare bones and just features flashcards of the 1,100 words you need to know.

If you searched for GRE related stuff on the internet, I am sure you have run into Manhattan Prep. Manhattan Prep has a vast catalog of standardized test prep books, and their app is next to none.

All flashcards offer detailed answer explanations, too, so you’ll always know why an answer is correct or incorrect. Additionally, you can select the specific skills you’d like to work on by filtering practice questions based on how difficult they are. The app covers all sections of the GRE — Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing sections.

If you’d instead learn new GRE words via context, then this is the perfect app for you. GRE daily vocabulary is created by “The Economist,” and the way it works is that you will get an Economist passage that features a common GRE word every day.

This neat little app offers over a thousand practice questions from both the test’s Math and Verbal sections. It has a clean and easy-to-use UI and comes packed with so many great features. You have over 1000 questions to practice with. Their practice tests are based on the official test.
