The tempo and volume of the chords, metronome and song can easily be adjusted in the bottom media player bar within each song.

Chordify’s unique ability to find chords for any song that you desire means that it is open ended and vast in its content. There is a slight lag with the inbuilt metronome when playing at certain speeds with some songs which could be further enhanced.

There are currently no options to record or receive feedback on the learner’s playing within the app so this is an area that could be developed.

Chordify is free to download and use. With a ‘premium’ subscription for £4,99 per month you can gain ad free, unlimited access to songs along with access to a range

of ways to personalise the tracks e.g. transpose, change the tempo, create setlists to organise songs and more.

Is Chordify safe to use?

Yes. The application does require an account, name and email to start with but no other personal data is requested. There app's data protection compliance is explained on the website.

I would highly recommend this app to any musician from beginner to advanced who wants an easy to use app where they can quickly and easily find chord charts for any songs that they wish to leaner. Chordify is an app that supports self-directed learning by providing clear and accurate chord chart play-alongs that are simple to search for. It is easy for the learner to play at their own level with the apps ability to search for songs with particular chord progressions and the adaptation options of reducing/increasing the speed/transposing the key, looping parts of the song etc.
