    The Reading Comprehension app uses examples of text, listed by the year group they are most suited to and provides examples of fiction and non-fiction to develop comprehension skills. Although an American App we found the range of texts provided (even in the free version) to be of a high standard. Often it is assumed that children understand what they have read. For many children it is a skill to learn and this is why it is included in the 11+.  Possibly the best way to use this app is to work through from the more basic texts (year3, 8 to 9 year olds) to the more advanced (year 5, 10 to 11 year olds) which, when completed will put the child in good stead for the entrance exams.
