Gibson: Your Guitar Teacher is an in-depth app that allows users to develop their skills on the guitar across a range of genres and abilities. It teaches the student how to start to use the guitar from the very basics, understanding how to pick, and what a fret is, identifies and listens to the student as they play, and allows them to learn to play alongside a range of songs. However, there is even more depth than this.  Gibson: Your Guitar Teacher also allows you to access a wide range of songs regardless of your focus on your guitar course by accessing their library, playing alongside the recording, and adapting features of this yourself. Whilst this is suitable for age 4, the main suitability is based on the ability and skills of the player intended. Ideally, I would suggest it is suitable for any learner above the age of 11. It is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch as well as iPad, and requires iOS 13.0 or later. It also has an Android version. The app is free to download and provides you with a free trial for the yearly subscription. However, it then has in-app purchases for the subscription-based service. There are no other adverts on top of this. It develops skills in performance, building repertoire, and allows solo instruments to play alongside an accompaniment that can easily be personalised to their skill set.
