    Bimi Boo Kids Academy helps develop preschool knowledge and skills in kids between two and five. Its 1,700+ games cover curriculum-type topics such as numeracy and literacy and provide more general thinking, creativity, and knowledge development activities. Bimi Boo Kids Academy is available on iOS and Android devices. You can try the app with a trial of up to one month, after which you can subscribe either monthly or yearly.

    Math Fluency with Sports: +- is a math practice app that uses sports as a hook to get kids working on improving their addition and subtraction skills. It features eleven sports-themed levels and encourages kids to practice calculations and recognise important keywords. Available as a free download on iOS and Android with two playable levels, the full version of Math Fluency with Sports: +- unlocks with a single in-app purchase. The calculations players must solve in the app range from single-digit to three-digit numbers, making it suitable for kids between 5 and 11 to develop or improve their mental math skills.

    CoSpaces is a creation app built for the classroom which helps young learners develop virtual content. They design, implement, and code their ideas within the multi-format app to produce augmented and virtual-reality creations. The app directly addresses STEM subjects, but its website provides examples of it being used across the world in support of topics as diverse as history and social-emotional development. CoSpaces is entirely usable by students on free-to-download mobile apps or using the web app. While designed for school and classroom use, home schoolers and other parents can still use it by signing up for a single-teacher account. Teachers have access to more admin tools when they use the web.

    Kamau.io shows a visual indicator of how adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing work. The user enters two numbers and an operator (+,-,×,÷) and then clicks the submit button. The app then uses clear animations to show how the operation produces results. You can use Kamau.io on any device with a web browser; it is free to use, does not contain advertisements, and does not require registration.

    Pure Math – Maths, Brain, Memory is a math practice app designed to help learners of all ages become faster and more accurate at mental arithmetic. It has many options to ensure users get the most from a daily practice session. You can download this app for free on iOS to try it with a cut-down selection of levels. There is a single low-cost in-app purchase to unlock the app's full features.

    Code Monkey is an award-winning platform which teaches children real coding languages such as CoffeeScript and Python. The unique teaching and learning system uses block and text-based coding through an engaging game-like environment. The platform supports teachers, parents and children by providing them with essential tools like classroom lesson plans, a parental child progress tracker and fun, scaffolded programming to solve scaffolded puzzles and create their own games.

    Pictoword is an exciting puzzle game with an addictive premise, where two related picture clues must be connected together to find the right word. For every right puzzle, you can win coins, so in-app purchases can be avoided. The puzzles can be shared on Facebook, so you can seek help from friends if needed. Pictoword is available for free to download on iOS and Android devices. While Pictoword is much more of an entertainment app, it does offer players a chance to test their logic and problem solving skills with each puzzle. There is also a spelling component that provides good practice for players as they must spell each word correctly in order to complete the puzzle.

    Paint6 is a puzzle app where players must colour in grids with predefined shapes similar to Tetris blocks but generally made of more units. It has various difficulty levels and gameplay that encourages kids to think. Paint6 is entirely free on iOS and Android and has no in-app purchases. The app displays advertisements that players view to earn hints to complete the levels. The app's content is suitable for kids, but behavioural advertising may make it unsuitable for kids under 13.

    iSpringQuizMaker is a user-friendly and flexible quiz maker for teachers to make quizzes.
