Braille Tutor Review

What do we like about Braille Tutor?

Starting with the alphabet in grade 1 and moving through grade 2 group signs and word signs, the teachings are divided into stages based on essential themes. Punctuation is introduced through sentences, which also provide practice with context.

What skills does it improve?

An introduction to learning and using braille is provided by the app. A select few key principles are presented in each class. Classes are structured so that they build on previously given concepts in subsequent lessons. It is advised for novices to begin with Lesson 1 and gradually advance their skills. Any new ideas in a lesson can be strengthened by having them repeated.

What age is it appropriate for?

Braille Tutor is appropriate for all ages.

Is Braille Tutor free?

Braille Tutor is available free to download on all iOS devices.

Is Braille Tutor easy to use?

The self-vocalizing Braille Tutor has been developed for blind and low-vision users. Along with iOS accessibility capabilities, there are in-app settings that let users customise the user experience to their tastes. Playing this game is a good method to practise and learn braille! The app is simple to use, has excellent lesson plans broken down into manageable bits, and – most importantly – is entertaining!

How will students benefit?

A sighted or blind person learning braille can engage in interactive learning with the help of Braille Tutor. On the iPad, it works with the onscreen or home keys on a Bluetooth keyboard. Although it has its own voice, it also supports iOS accessibility. The app helps blind students learn by using noises and text-to-speech. The user can feel the keys by using a Bluetooth keyboard.

What can Braille Tutor improve on?

Some of the basic features are only available in an upgrade.

How much does Braille Tutor cost?

Braille Tutor is available for the cost of $1.99 and l vw38e9swiessons with word signs, group signs, short forms, and beginning- and final-letter contractions are available as an upgrade.
