Apple App Store news — June 5, 2023
ConfirmedApple has refined its App Store Review Guidelines and other developer-related documents, with changes taking aim against inappropriate advertising, apps that impersonate others, and Safari extensions.
There are a total of five changes. Few of the important changes, adding to part 2.5.18, apps "that contain ads must also include the ability for users to report any inappropriate or age-inappropriate ads."
An addition to 4.1 mentions that anyone submitting apps "which impersonate other apps or services is considered a violation of the Developer Code of Conduct and may result in removal from the Apple Developer Program."
