    Little Chatterbox for Kids is an interactive, language-learning app that enables young learners to practise and understand and selection of nouns, in a variety of different contexts, from a choice of eight foreign languages.  No prior knowledge is needed as the engaging audio and video complement the clear graphics to produce a compelling language-learning tool, which makes use of a compelling range of activities. It is an interactive and fun piece of software that promises language progression wrapped in entertainment.

The programme aims to help young children learn how to read through the fun exploration of different games as they make their journeys through different settings and games. Children learn to read through phonics as they begin the process of learning this important life skill.

    Qlango is a language learning app that enables you to learn your chosen foreign language from scratch or as a revision tool, making use of a compelling range of activities. It makes use of an impressive variety of European language pairs, in multiple combinations.

    Elephant Learning is an application available on iOS, android and a web-based platform. It claims to be the most effective Math Learning Platform ever invented because the application propels learning faster than any other platform and the learning lasts longer. The application supports student from the age of 2-16 who are struggling with math concepts. The developers have partnered with the University of Denver to help create ‘Advanced Curriculum Technology’ or ACT for short.  The apps are free from in-app adverts and in-app purchases. However, it is noted that the mobile application supports the on-line Elephant Learning platform. This service has a free trial option but is a subscription service for those who wish to use the application on a regular basis, whether that is parents and children or schools and pupils.

Users must use both multiplication and addition as their core skills, but also understand their respective inverses (subtraction and division) to solve a variety of problems. An alternative approach to practicing and using basic number skills and finding common factors.

It is very easy to understand how to progress through the app, and there are clear instructions given for the teacher, and a clear helpful chat in order to clarify any questions. This app is designed to give students the guidance in order to ensure their practice is completed in between lessons, with opportunity for reward, and guidance from the teacher.

With mobile phones taking over many aspects of our daily lives and with parents struggling to keep up to date with new technology Kidgy is the ideal platform to stay one step ahead.   This app is free from in-app adverts, however, there is a subscription fee to unlock the true potential of this application for parents and children.

The app presents a sequence of objects TO SCALE from the subatomic particles to the observable Universe itself. This application is suitable for a variety of subjects such as Science, Geography and Engineering and a range of ages from 4 years and above. The application is free from in-app purchases and in-app adverts.
