Who Runs GiveMeGlutenFree?
I am a graduate student, who was diagnosed with Coeliac disease in 2010, with a passion for food and using technology to help people organise their lives while on the move. While studying for an MSc in Digital Sociology at Goldsmith’s University, London, I decided to take the opportunity to use my new skills to design a website and smartphone app. I wanted these apps to both help people organise their lives eating gluten free, and also allow me to find out how Coeliacs, as people who have had to reorganise the way we eat, think about, buy and socialise around food – and ultimately make decisions about this aspect of our lives everyday.

I would like to find out what you really think of the gluten free menu choices and information you get when you are out and about at restaurants. You are free to review places featured on this website, and add your own pictures. I also invite you to add any new places that you find while you’re out and about.
As well as useful tips and advice, you will from time to time, come across the odd poll or question, asking you about how you plan your lives around things like dinner and birthday parties, work trips and conferences, and going on vacation – I would be really grateful if you could fill these in, so I can get a good idea of your thoughts.
